About the Charity Dude
The Charity Dude is no one special.
He is just a Dude with an attitude that realized how easy it is to do great things for other people.
His real name is Jason Craig. He is rough around the edges, cocky, and never claims to be a role model to anyone.
On August 4th, 1998 something happened that changed his life. The good lord felt the need to send him and Angel in the form of a 3lb baby girl. In December of 2000 the big guy upstairs threw a second Angel his direction with the birth of his second baby girl.
After a drowning scare with his youngest and the death of his dad at age 29, Jason decided to make the best of everyday by doing what he does best, humiliating himself to benefit others.
Living in a porta Potty for a month for Children's Christmas or living in a dog cage for the weekend to bring awareness to pets in need. There just is no limit to what Jason will do for a cause he believes in.
Jason is always looking for friends and fun fun. Not to mention new challenges in the Charity world.
If you are looking for help raising money for your cause. Shoot him and email and he will get back with you quick.
Just a warning, he is not you typical suit wearing clean shaven philanthropist, so don't be shocked when you meet a 400lb giant that calls it like he sees it. Take a minute and see what he sees, you just may like him.
PHCA
PHCA Mission and Vision Statement
The Perrysburg Heights Community Association was established for the purpose of promoting and improving pride and the quality of life among all the residents of the Perrysburg Heights area. Through involving the community in educational, social, recreational and neighborhood improvement programs, a new beginning and image will become a reality for the Heights community. The Association works to develop individual pride and self-worth by empowering individuals and promoting total community participation in its programs.
Organization Profile
The PHCA since its inception in 1991, has developed partnerships with many agencies; also, volunteer and service programs as well as school administration and staff. We feel it is extremely important to continue to develop relationships with programs that mirror the ideals of our organization. PHCA is ready to expand the services we provide by effectively developing priority lists, timelines and programs that offer more diversity in structure to the overall community of Wood County.
By establishing a strong volunteer base, the PHCA has been able to bring to fruition many if its dreams! Take a look at what we’ve done so far: Maintained high quality programming, raised funds to establish a park and community center, provided after-school tutoring, drug prevention programs, utilized county community service workers, BGSU students earning course credit for educational support, Adult Education programs such as GED completion, Boys and Girl Scout Troops, Preschool Story Hour, Arts & Craft Programs, Resume & Cover Letter Service, Computer Classes, Sr. Citizens Group, Community Clean-up Projects, Community Newsletter, Folkloric Dance Studio and a Free Medical Clinic.
The PHCA has accomplished much of what it originally set out to do, but we are far from finished. Future plans include these projects: expand, but not limited to other economically challenged areas of Northwest Ohio, continuing offering our book scholarships, on-going fund-raising efforts such as the Ohio’s South of the Border Festival, establish long term funding for continued programming, computer upgrades to develop technology for community use, to continue supporting a uniquely diverse community and broaden our communication with the overall community for the better of our neighborhood.
